The World without a Mobile

"Wonder kid in Matrix: Do not try and bend the spoon, that’s impossible, instead only try to realize the truth.
Neo Anderson: What truth?
Wonder kid in Matrix: That there is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself ! "

Have you ever wondered what would life be without life and death, light and darkness, predator and prey, good and evil? Neither can survive without the other. If there is only light we will forget the difference between light and dark and hence, light will become an inconspicuous reality of our life. We will start believing in the truth that appears to us without actually realizing what had caused it or what had actually happened because we don’t dare question.

A cellular phone has become an integral part of our life. We walk, talk, sleep, work and play with our phone. It is the best buddy we got in the whole world, then why run from it? The smart phone has already begun replacing the laptops, computers, television and all other electronic gadgets. A phone is also known as a mobile in a few countries, because you are always on the ‘GO’ whether you are in an airplane, conference, business meetings or even at a warfront. Coupled with internet and the social networking websites you are always connected to the Matrix no matter how deep your Rabbit Hole goes.

Not very far in the future, both high and low end businesses would be run by companies by releasing their agents with these tantalizing gizmos. The sales and marketing professionals will create their own vicious circle vying for their next prey in the form of clients. They will run campaigns, surveys, webinars and video conferences just over a phone which would result in a fortune. If they can nail even a handful of leads and contacts with people liking their facebook links then they have their platform.

However, it would be interesting to see how the mobile evolves with the cloud. The cloud has immense potential and keeping up with it for the smart phones will be a little difficult. Thank God, at least the development and maintenance of the mainframes and servers would not be handled by mobile phones.

The mobile phones are a handy tool for the federal agencies. They can use the geo locators to track down hot shot criminals and get an individual’s entire information popped up onto their phones just by scanning a thumb impression or taking an image of a suspect. They can even perform a forecast of the possible crime scenes based on the assemblage of criminal lords using geo locators coupled with their social networks.

The mobile devices have surely transformed our lives making us busy and unreachable to our dear ones. We part with friends telling them that we are just a phone call away but we hardly find time to even talk to them over the phone. Will we ever be able to get away from our phone for a day and stop thinking about our phone? Will we stop transforming into mobile freaks and stop looking for the "All Spark" to equip us with more electronic junk than life?

"E-mail is far more convenient than the telephone, as far as I'm concerned. I would throw my phone away if I could get away with it." - Tom Hanks
